Trick or Treat Night

Trick or Treat Night in the Borough will be held Monday, October 31st, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.


 Halloween Parade

The Halloween Parade will be held October 27th. The parade forms at 5:30 PM at the Middle School and moves West on Market Street to the High School at 6:00 PM.

Jack-O-Lantern Contest

This year's Jack-O-Lantern Contest will be held at the Herr Memorial Library on Wednesday, October 26th. Bring your carved pumpkin and enter the competition for the MVP (Most Valuable Pumpkin) in the following categories: scariest, most creative, traditional, happiest and best jack-o-lantern from a home grown pumpkin. There are 3 age groups; 9 years old and under; 10 through 17; and 18 years and older. No candles or flames allowed-batteries only. The fun begins at 7 PM and judging begins at 7:30. Don't forget to enjoy a Halloween craft while you are there. Register by calling 570-966-0831 or by stopping by the circulation desk of the library.
